In Sikkim, a nine member Central Assessment Team to assess damage caused by last month’s devastating earthquake, led by Jt.Secy.( N E) in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Shambhu Singh is leaving for Dzongu in the North district today.

They will visit some other places also to make a final assessment. A five member Central Expert Team of structural engineers and officials from the National Bamboo Mission has already visited quake hit areas of the North district.
