In Sikkim, a nine member Central Assessment Team led by Jt. Secy.(North East Affairs), Shambhu Singh is visiting the North district today. The team will make a final assessment of the damages caused by last month's devastating earthquake in this worst hit district.

The State Human Resource Development Department is working hard to ensure that all the 779 government schools,damaged in the earthquake resume classes from next Monday.
