In Assam,  the Central team has begun their field visit  to assess the flood damage. The team will continue the assessment till tomorrow.  CEO of the Assam State Disaster Management Authority M S Manivannan told AIR that the 6 members team has been divided into 3 groups.<br />'' <br />''Mr. Manivannan said that the groups are visiting atleast 7 flood hit districts.  He said that the team held a review meeting with senior Assam government officials at Guwahati last evening. <br />'' <br />''Additional Chief Secretary Jishnu Baruah has made a presentation on floods damages to the Central team. 3 waves of floods affected lakhs of people this year in Assam.<br />
