<span style="color: #222222;">The 5-member inter-ministerial Central Team led by Joint Secretary Praveen Vasishta is assessing the extent of damage caused by the recent rains in Telangana state.<br />''<br />''The team, in two groups has begun their study to assess the damage.<br />''<br />''A 2-member group left for Siddipet district and other parts of the state to assess crop and agriculture losses.<br />''<br />''Another group is visiting various rain affected areas in Hyderabad to assess damage to houses and people in low lying areas.<br />''<br />''The teams will visit the affected areas for two days and send their report to the central government.<br />''<br />''AIR Correspondent reports, the Central team led by Joint Secretary in Home Ministry Praveen Vashista  has begun its assessment over the extent of damage that the recent heavy rains and floods caused to various sectors in Telangana especially in Hyderabad.<br />''<br />''The group of the central team visited the Palle Cheruvu  near Chandrayangutta in Hyderabad which breached following the recent heavy rains.<br />''<br />''The Five Member inter-ministerial Team has earlier in the day met Chief Secretary, Somesh Kumar and other senior officials at the state secretariat and discussed the flood situation and ongoing relief measures.<br />''<br />''The senior officials in the state government briefed the team about the damages and a photo display has also been arranged for reference.<br />''<br />''Later , the team members also interacted with the local people to know their difficulties.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile, Minister of state for Home G Kishan Reddy also visited various flood affected areas in Secunderabad, Amberpet and Nampally divisions of his Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency and assured flood affected people of all possible assistance from the government.</span><br />
