A central team arrived in Manipur today to study the rising cases of COVID-19 and fatality rate. The expert team is led by Dr. L. Swaticharan, Addl. DDG of Directorate General Health Services.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The expert team held a meeting with the officials of State Health Department at Imphal and reviewed the pandemic situation in the State. The team is likely to visit the Mao gate and Mao Hospital of Senapati district tomorrow. The team will visit different districts of the State till Friday to take the stock of the situation.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, 250 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported during the last twenty four hours in Manipur taking the total cases to 23560. Three hundred and fifty six Covid patients recovered today. The total recovered cases reached 20374. The number of active cases is 3038. The State has recorded 238 deaths due to the pandemic as on date.</span><br />
