<span style="color: #222222;">The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that the enhanced rainfall activity due to active Southwest Monsoon is expected to continue till today over northeast India, Bihar, West Bengal and East Uttar Pradesh. Talking to AIR News, Director General, IMD, Mrutyunjay Mohapatra said, the central India especially Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh and Odisha, which are witnessing less rainfall will now experience heavy rainfall from today.</span><br />
