The Government of India released 2 thousand 345 Crore rupees of Central grant to Rajasthan under Jal Jeevan Mission. Jal Shakti Ministry said, the central fund of over 10 crore rupees has been allocated to the State for 2021-22 for the implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission. As on date, out of over 100 lakh rural households in the State, nearly 22 lakh households have tap water connections. Since the announcement of Jal Jeevan Mission in 2019, about 9.97 lakh households have been provided with tap water supply.
