Central govt working 24×7 to strengthen economy, says Prakash Javdekar

Union Information & Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javdekar today said that central government is working 24 into 7 and taking actions to strengthen the economy so there should be no worries regarding the status of the economy because our economy is moving fast and it's quite strong. <br />''<br />''He was talking to media in Lucknow. <br />''<br />''I&B Minister said that in the last 1.5 years repo rates have been reduced 5 times and it will strengthen the industry and interest rates will also come down.<br />'' <br />'' Mr. Javdekar said that today there is a kind of slowdown all over the world but in India situation is different because here Modi government is working continuously on strengthening the country's economy. Talking about the steps being taken by the central government he said that, the government took the decision to reduce corporate tax and it's a revolutionary step because many companies will now come to India and investment will increase.<br />'' <br />'' He further added that in the last 4 months 110 decisions were taken in 15 cabinet meetings which will make the economy strong. Government has also decided to invest rupees 100 lakh crores in the country's infrastructure with 10 lakh crores investment pushing in every year. Mr. Javdekar said that merger of Banks is strengthening Banking Industry and everyone is welcoming this decision. 70 thousand crore rupees have been given to banks to make them stronger and the central government is taking action against economic offenders. <br />''  <br />
