The Central Government has urged the Public Sector Units to fulfill their corporate social responsibility by serving the poor in ongoing severe winter season. Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma on Wednesday advised three PSUs, MMTC, STC and PEC under his ministry to play their part. These three PSUs will distribute 4000 blankets through social welfare departments of the state governments and Red Cross in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and other northern states of the country.
