The government has called on the industry to join hands in the development of Naxal-hit areas to win the trust of the people in these areas. Speaking at the Annual Session of the CII, the Home Minister Mr. P Chidambaram on Wednesday said, there is a huge trust deficit between the elected government and the people in the affected areas and they tend to rely on structure of power which opposes the country. He said that in the Naxal-hit areas the problem is the lack of effective governance.<br/>
