Center will continue to support Chhattisgarh to stamp out Naxal menace: Rajnath Singh

Home minister Rajnath Singh has assured that the Centre will continue to extend all cooperation and support to Chhattisgarh government in its fight against insurgency. <br/><br/>He made the assurance while chairing a high-level meeting in Raipur yesterday to review law and order situation as well as development works being carried out for the betterment of the people in the naxal-affected region of the state. Reiterating Centre's support to the state in its efforts to wipe out naxal menace, Rajnath Singh said road connectivity in Naxal-hit area will be expanded and 850 km roads will be built in Chhattisgarh. <br/><br/>He also sanctioned setting up of 50 new police stations and 35 mobile towers in the maoist-hit areas of the state. Chief Minister Raman Singh was also present in the meeting.
