In order to impart quality driving training, the Center is in the process  of accrediting driver training centers. The Ministry of Road Transport  has come out with draft requirements and procedures to be followed by such centres.   <br />'' <br />'' The move will also help the transport industry to have specially trained drivers. This will improve drivers' efficiency and reduce road accidents. <br />'' <br />''The draft says, any individual on successful completion of  training from such centers, will be exempted from driving test while applying for a driving license. The draft notification has been uploaded on the Ministry's website for larger public consultation. <br />
