<span style="color: #222222;">Center has directed West Bengal government  to comply with its orders  and  not to obstruct working of inter-ministerial central teams visiting the state to  review and on-spot assessment of implementation of lockdown measures to fight  COVID-19.<br />''<br />''In a letter to  State Chief Secretary, Home  Secretary Ajay Bhalla said the West Bengal  government is not cooperating with central teams to assess COVID-19 situation  and teams specifically restrained from making visits, interacting with health workers and assessing ground situation.  He said this amounts to obstructing the orders issued by the Center under the Disaster Management Act – 2005. Mr. Bhalla directed the state to comply with the  orders and  make arrangements for Inter-ministerial central teams  to carry out their responsibilities.</span><br />
