The cabinet has approved Indian Oil Corporation and Oil India Ltd's proposal to invest 2.18 billion US dollar by 2015 in a Venezuela oil project. Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, Home Minister Mr P. Chidambaram said this.He also informed the cabinet has approved award of 33 oil and gas blocks auctioned under New Exploration Licensing Policy.
