Information and Broadcasting Minister Arun Jaitley has said the time has come to have a re-look at the functioning of Censor Board. In an interview to PTI, Mr. Jaitley said he is discussing the matter with some experts as to what should be its future role. He said the board needs to be controversy-free. <br/><br/>The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), which is commonly referred to as the Censor Board, is a statutory censorship and classification body under the Ministry to regulate the public exhibition of films. The Board currently headed by Pahalaj Nihalani, has got mired in controversies on numerous occasions in the recent past .
