The Centre in order to ensure probity among Government Staff has decided to carry out rotation in respect of sensitive to non-sensitive posts and review and screening of officers of doubtful integrity under the Fundamental Rules 56(J) .<br/><br/>The departments have been asked to invoke Fundamental Rules 56 (J) that empowers the Government to compulsorily retire an employee after they put in 30 years of service, if they are suspected to be corrupt or ineffective.<br/><br/>In an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, all Ministries and Departments have been asked to complete this activity in time bound manner.<br/><br/>The appropriate authority has the absolute right to retire the Government servant, if it is necessary to do so in public interest, under the FR 56(J) of CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972.
