Celebrities like Lata Mangeshkar, Shah Rukh Khan and AR Rahman have mourned the demise of former President, calling his death a great loss to the country.<br/>Four-time National Award-winning composer Rahman, on his facebook page said, the country lost an "inspiring mind". He said Dr. Kalam gave the word 'hope' a new meaning for Indians.<br/><br/>Bollywood's evergreen voice Lata Mangeshkar also took to Facebook to pay her condolence. She said she knew Dr. Kalam very well personally and was saddened by the news of his demise. Paying him a tribute, she further said Dr. Kalam was a great scientist, a human being and a good poet.<br/><br/>Rajya Sabha MP and Bollywood screenwriter- lyricist Javed Akhtar, said the way Dr. Kalam led his life was exemplary and he has left behind good values for us.<br/><br/>Several other Bollywood personalities including Shahrukh Khan, Ajay Devgan, Anupam Kher, Varun Dhawan, Sushmita Sen, Raveena Tondon, director-producer Subhash Ghai, film-maker Karan Johar, Sridevi and many others took to social networking sites to condole the death of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
