In Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, the celebration of the week long annual Ladakh Festival has begun from today at Leh town. The festival is celebrated to extend the short tourism season of Ladakh. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that the annual Ladakh festival is organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism department in collaboration with the concerned stakeholders. <br/><br/>During the festival, ethnic , traditional, religious , cultural and life of the people are present to the visiting tourists. The festival was started in 1980' s to promote Ladakh as tourists destination in the country. <br/><br/>Photo Exhibition, handicraft exhibition, polo match and traditional archery match and music concert are organized in the week- long Ladakh festival.
