The Chief Election Commissioner S.Y. Qureshi will review the ongoing works of electoral roll revision in West Bengal at a high level meeting in Kolkata on Friday. Mr. Qureshi will have video conference with the District Electoral officers at the State secretariat on the issue and other related matters. AIR Kolkata correspondent reports that the visit of the Chief Election Commissioner assumes significance in view of various allegations made by the different political parties on the electoral roll revision. The final electoral roll will be published on the 28th of next month.
