Chief Election Commissioner, CEC, Nasim Zaidi will inaugurate the four-day long Matdata Mahotsav at Central Park, Connaught Place in New Delhi today. The event will focus at creating greater awareness about the electoral process and strengthening Systematic Voters' Education & Electoral Participation SVEEP programme.<br/><br/>The voters' fest will host national exhibition displaying the good practices on various aspects of election management and also describe the process of elections through interactive models, presentations and exhibits from different parts of the country. <br/><br/>Queries on registration and voting will be answered and the electoral process explained at a model of a polling station and facilitation centre. Multitude of activities like debates and discussions, music and dance, street plays and games, quizzes and contests during the event aim to keep up the spirit of festivity. <br/><br/>The Mahotsav comes ahead of the 6th National Voters' Day, which will be observed on January 25.<br/><br/>
