Congress Central Election Committee, CEC, meeting is underway in New Delhi to decide party candidates for upcoming Assembly polls in Maharashtra. Party President Sonia Gandhi and other senior leaders including Ahmad Patel, Veerappa Moily, A K Antony, Shakeel Ahmad and AICC General Secretary in-charge of Maharashtra Mohan Prakash are attending the meeting. Congress is in alliance with NCP in the state. However, there is no clarity still over seat sharing between the two parties for the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly.
