Chief Election Commissioner S Y Qureshi and Deputy Election Commissioner Alok Shukla are holding consultations with representatives of recognised national and regional political parties, in Chennai in connection with the Assembly elections due in Tamil Nadu. The CEC will be meeting District Collectors, election officials, senior police officers on the poll preparations.
