Ceasefire Violation: Pakistani forces resort to firing and shelling in Poonch district of J&K

In yet another incidence of ceasefire violation along the Line of Control, Pakistani forces resorted to firing and shelling in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir today. Defence sources told AIR Jammu that Pakistani Army started unprovoked firing targetting some Indian positions and civilian areas in Shahpur sector around 2 PM this afternoon.<br/> <br/>Army troops guarding the border retaliated and gave a befitting reply to Pakistan Army's firing. Intermittent exchange of fire was continuing when last reports came in. There is no report of any casuality or injuries to the Indian side so far. <br/><br/>Small arms, automatic weapons and mortars were used in firing. Yesterday four army personnel including an officer were martyred in Pakistani firing along the LoC in adjoining Rajouri district.
