In yet another ceasefire violation this month, Pakistani Rangers today fired at Indian posts along Indo-Pak border in Jammu district. A senior BSF officer told in Jammu BSF troops, guarding the borderline took positions and effectively retaliated resulting in brief exchanges.There was no loss of life or damage to property in the firing, he said. In another such incident, Pakistan troops violated the ceasefire and fired on some border posts along Line of Control (LoC) in Krishnagati belt of Poonch sector late last night. This is the ninth case of ceasefire violation so far this month.
