In Mumbai, CCTV cameras will be installed from the month of November, to combat the security problem at various places around the busy and highly populated metropolis. The announcement was made by State Home Minister R.R. Patil in Mumbai on Monday.Mr Patil informed that he had a discussion regarding this with the Scotland Yard Police during his recent London tour. He also said that the Mumbai Police Commissioner will be asked to submit the proposal for installation of the CCTV cameras in the city. The home minister also assured that immediate steps will be taken to ensure security.
