CCS takes stock of the situation on Pune bomb attack

The Cabinet Committee on Security today took stock of the situation arising out of the Pune bomb blast. The meeting discussed the progress in investigations into the incident. Home Minister Mr P Chidambaram later said he briefed the members about the Pune blast. He refused to comment on whether the Indo-Pak talks would be held as per the schedule. Foreign Secretary-level talks are scheduled to be held in New Delhi on February 25.<br/>The Security meet chaired by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, was attended by Home Minister P Chidambaram, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, External Affairs Minister S M Krishna and Defence Minister A K Antony. National Security Adviser Shivshankar Menon, Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao and Union Home Secretary G K Pillai were also present during the hour-long meeting.
