The Cabinet Committee on Infrastructure, CCI, has approved the setting up of the National Knowledge Network, NKN. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that the network, with an outlay of 5990 crore rupees, will be implemented by the National Information Centre, NIC, over a period of ten ten years.
