The CCEA has given the green signal for disinvesting ten percent of the equity of the central government in the Manganese Ore India Limited , MOIL. The Centre which holds an equity of 81.57 percent will now be reduced 71.57 percent. The state government of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh have also decided to divest five percent each of their equity in MOIL. At present Madhya Pradesh holds an equity of 8.81percent and Maharashtra 9.62 percent. The CCEA has also given its approval to allow five percent discount to the employees of the company under the employees reservation quota to encourage them to become stake holders in the company.
