The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved the setting up of committee to propose Exim bank scheme to offer concessional finance to companies bidding for infra projects abroad. <br/><br/>The CCEA yesterday also approved doubling of the Hotgi-Kudgi-Gadag Railway line costing 2,058 Crore rupees. A number of Integrated Steel Plants, Power Plants and Cement Plants are coming up along the this route. This is an important rail link connecting the cities of Bangalore and Mumbai.
