<br/>The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs today approved the continuation of the scheme of central assistance for the Fast Track Courts up to 31st March of next year. This was approved in the CCEA meeting chaired by Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh. A sum of 4 lakh eighty thousand rupees central assistance would be provided to the states for each of the 1562 fast track courts for the year 2010-11. This will enable the fast track courts to dispose of long pending cases.
