CBSE to provide counselling to students, parents from today till June 7

The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, will be providing counselling services to students and their parents to help them deal with post-examination stress from today till the 7th of next month. The services include telephonic counselling, interactive voice response system, IVRS, and online counselling through the CBSE website. The telephonic counselling will be provided by trained counsellors and principals from CBSE-affiliated schools located in and outside the country. 10 counsellors from Japan, Kuwait, Doha, Saudi Arabia and the UAE will also provide counselling.Students can dial a toll free number from any part of the country and get in touch with the operator for general queries or for one-to-one telephonic counselling from 8 am till midnight. The number is 1800 180 3456. Techniques to cope with post-result anxiety will also be provided at the CBSE website – www.cbse.nic.in. Meanwhile, the CBSE will declare the results of class 10th today.
