CBSE declares its Class XII results of Delhi, Allahabad and Guwahati regions

Central Board of Secondary Education has declared the results of class 12 for Delhi, Allahabad and Guwahati regions.<br/><br/>Students can access their result on the website www.cbseresults.nic.in or www.results.nic.in .<br/><br/>They can also receive the results on their email account after registering themselves on these sites. <br/><br/>Results are also available on phone and SMS, information about which can be availed from the website www.cbse.nic.in.<br/><br/>This year a total of 6,99,129 students appeared for the class 12 board exam which included 4,08,367 boys and 2,90,762 girls.<br/><br/>About 80 per cent students have been declared successful in the 12th class examination conducted by CBSE this year. Girls out shone boys this year as well with their pass percentage crossing 85 per cent.<br/><br/>The pass percentage of boys is around 75 per cent. The highest over all percentage of over 92 per cent has been achieved by Chennai region. The results for the six regions of Delhi, Guwahati, Allahabad, Patna and Bhubaneswar were announced today.<br/><br/>The result for other regions was out on 19 th of this month. A total of over 7 lakh students had appeared in the examination this year. AIR correspondent reports that the pass percentage has come down by over 1 per cent this year.
