CBSE announces class 12 results

Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, has announced the results of class 12 examination for all regions today with Delhi girl Sukriti Gupta topping the exam by scoring 497 marks out of 500, followed by Palak Goyal securing 496, whereas Somya Uppal stood third with 495.<br/><br/>The overall pass percentage this year was 83.05 as compared to 82 the previous year.<br/><br/>The pass percentage of girls is 88.58 as compared to that of boys which is 78.85.<br/><br/>Overall pass percentage in the Thiruvananthapuram region is 97.91 which is the highest as compared to the other regions, followed by Chennai at 92.63 percent.<br/><br/>Students can access their results on three websites-www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in and www.cbse.nic.in.<br/><br/>The second phase of tele-counselling will also commence along with the announcement of the results and will continue till 4th of June.<br/><br/>The CBSE examinations began on 1st of March and concluded on 22nd of April. This year, more than ten lakh students registered for the Class 12th examination.<br/><br/>
