The CBI has registered two more FIRs in connection with contractual teacher grade-3 and grade-2 exams in the multi layered Professional Examination Board, VYAPAM scam of Madhya Pradesh. A case has been registered under different sections of IPC Madhya Pradesh Recognized Examinations Act, Information Technology Act and Prevention of Corruption Act against 99 accused in the Contractual School Teachers Eligibility Test – Grade-III.<br/><br/>The exam was conducted in 2011 by the VYAPAM. In Contractual School Teachers Eligibility Test – Grade-II case, 76 persons have been named as accused. The probe agency has also registered a preliminary inquiry into the deaths of nine persons alleged to be linked with the VYAPAM scam. It is found that the local police had initiated no action in these deaths. The preliminary inquiry has been registered to examine whether these deaths were fallout of the scam. The CBI has registered 12 FIRs in the VYAPAM scam so far.
