The CBI is ready to investigate the irregularities in the appointments of various posts of State Civil Services through Jharkhand State Public Service Commission-JPSC. Earlier the investigation agency had refused to investigate the matter on the ground of scarcity of manpower. Informing this in Jharkhand High Court, the CBI lawyer said that that the change in stand has come as the agency is now giving high priority to corruption cases. The Court has, however, reserved the order on this matter.The state Vigilance Bureau has initiated action of terminating the services of 19 officers.Our Correspondent reports that altogether 16 exams conducted by the JPSC is under controversies, out of which 12 are being investigated by the the State Vigilance Bureau. One applicant- Budha dev Oran, has approached the High Court for getting the irregularities investigated by the CBI.
