The Central Bureau of Investigation,CBI has taken over the investigation of case relating to shootout at Sagar Ratna restaurant at Rajinder Nagar, in which Manoj Kumar Vashisht was killed on May 16 last. CBI has registered a case and further investigation is on. Earlier, the Union Home Ministry has ordered a CBI probe into the gunning down of businessman Manoj Vashisht allegedly by the Delhi Police .<br/><br/>Vashisht's family had met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to urge him to transfer the probe from the Delhi Police to the CBI. Vashisht was shot dead by a team of special cell of the Delhi Police at a Sagar Ratna restaurant in Rajendra Nagar on May 16. His family alleged that it was a fake encounter.
