The Central Bureau of Investigation-CBI will position its officers in England, United States of America and the United Arab Emirates to liaise with their law enforcement agencies which would help in execution of its judicial requests on real time basis.

Speaking at the 13th D P Kohli memorial lecture in New Delhi today, the CBI Director, A P Singh said that the Home Ministry has given approval for the proposal in this regard.He said, the posts of these police liaison officers would be operationalised soon. He said that the postings of liasion officers will help deal most frequently in criminal matters.
