In Gujarat, the hearing on the bail application of the former Gujarat Minister of State for Home, Amit Shah will be taken up today by the special CBI court . Amit Shah is the main accused in the Sohrabuddin fake encounter case and murder of his wife -Kausarbi. Noted Supreme Court advocate, Ram Jethmalani, who appeared for Mr Shah, concluded his arguments, but his CBI rival, K. T. S. Tulsi sought more time to oppose the bail plea during the last hearing. CBI has also filed an affidavit before the court citing number of reasons for refusing bail to Amit Shah. Our Ahmedabad Correspondent reports that the Advocates of Amit Shah and CBI have already reached Ahmedabad last night for today’s legal battle. Shah is likely to be produced in the CBI court by video conferencing.
