The CBI will continue questioning of Kadapa Lok Sabha Member and YSR Congress Party President Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Sunday in connection with the Disproportionate Assets case against him. A team of CBI officials grilled him at its camp office in Hyderabad for about eight hours Friday evening and asked him to appear before it again Saturday morning. After the interrogation on day one, Jaganmohan Reddy told media that the CBI has sought some more clarifications for which he will be present before it again. This is the first time that Jaganmohan Reddy has appeared before the central investigating agency in connection with the Disproportionate Assets case. The CBI registered a case against him and 71 others last year alleging that he conspired with his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, who was then the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, to dole out favours to some companies for his gains. The CBI has so far arrested four persons including the state Excise Minister M Venkataramana, Industrialist Prasad, senior Official Brahmananda Reddy and Jaganmohan Reddy’s Auditor Vijayasai Reddy in this connection.
