CBI today took over the probe into the murder of Bihar journalist Rajdev Ranjan. Sources said a team of CBI sleuths will soon leave for Siwan in this connection. <br/> <br/>Rajdev Ranjan was murdered in Siwan in May this year and controversial former RJD MP Mohammed Shahabuddin, who recently released on bail, is under the scanner of investigating agencies in the case. <br/><br/>Earlier, Bihar government had transferred the case to the CBI. The case again came to limelight, after a photograph of an alleged sharpshooter who is wanted in this murder case, was spotted with Shahabuddin when he was released on bail from Bhagalpur jail. The prime accused of the case is also said to have close links with Shahabuddin.
