CBI has summoned Karti Chidambaram, son of former finance minister P Chidamabaram in connection with an alleged corruption case on Friday. Sources in the agency said, he was called earlier in June but had sought more time to appear before it. CBI said, Karti Chidambaram's examination was needed in connection with a Foreign Investment Promotion Board clearance given to INX Media group for receiving funds from Mauritius when his father was the finance minister.
