In Kerala, the CBI Special Court in Ernakulam today relaxed the bail condition of Sufia Madani, the tenth accused in the 2005 Kalamassery bus burning case. The court relaxed the earlier bail condition that restricted her movement outside Ernakulam district for ten days. Sufia had approached the court seeking relaxation in the bail conditions to visit her husband and People's Democratic Party leader Abdul Nasar Madani, who is undergoing treatment in Thiruvananthapuram and her mother, who is in Ochira. The National Investigation Agency had strongly opposed the relaxation of the bail condition as she is the prime conspirator in the case. The court directed Sufia to inform the investigating agency about her movements.
