CBI Special Court grants bail to ex-mines director in illegal mining case

A CBI special Court in Hyderabad today granted conditional bail to the former mines director Rajagopal in an illegal mining case. He has been arrested for alleged irregularities relating to the Obulapuram Mining Company. Granting him bail, the Special court asked him to be available for CBI for further enquiry besides producing surety from two persons and 50 thousand rupees. The official had been accused for misusing his powers and arrested last month.The Court had granted bail to another accused IAS officer, Srilakshmi in the illegal mining case few days ago. Our correspondent reports that, Karnataka former minister Janardhan Reddy and OMC Managing Director Srinivasa Reddy who have been accused in the multi crore rupees mining irregularities have also filed bail petitions for the fourth time before the court.
