The CBI has set up a six member team headed by a Superintendent of Police to investigate the mysterious death case of Dr. Y.S. Sachan in Lucknow district jail in Uttar Pradesh on the 22nd of last month. Deputy Inspector General of Police CBI Javeed Ahmed told AIR Lucknow correspondent that following judgment of Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court, CBI has got transferred FIR from Lucknow police lodged at Gosaiganj police station by Dr. Malti Sachan wife of Dr. Sachan. AIR correspondent reports that after postmortem of the dead body police lodged FIR on the application of his wife on the 11th of this month.
