The Central Bureau of Investigation, CBI today sent a Red Corner Notice to Interpol on the request of Delhi Police in defence consultant Sanjay Bhandari's case. <br/><br/>In October last year, Delhi Police registered an FIR against the controversial arms dealer and defence consultant. He was already under the scanner of the Enforcement Directorate and Income-Tax Department for allegedly holding benami property in London. <br/><br/>The IT Department had been carrying out an investigation against Bhandari and the OIS Group in connection with a tax evasion case. Last year in June, the IT Department carried out searches on two Bengaluru-based business premises associated with Bhandari to ascertain the sources of about 70 crores rupees received by his companies between 2009 and 2014.
