CBI on Saturday claimed to have recovered around Rs. two crore in cash in a disproportionate assets case against the then Development Commissioner, Special Economic Zone, Surat.<br/><br/>It was alleged that he had acquired disproportionate assets to the tune of over Rs. five crore in his own name as well as in the name of his family members.<br/><br/>The agency said, searches were conducted at 7 premises in Mangalore, Mumbai, Malegaon and Nashik which led to recovery of several incriminating documents.
