CBI raids Yeddyurappa’s residences in Shimoga, Bangalore

The CBI has conducted early morning raid on residences of former Karnataka Chief Minister Yeddyurappa in Shimoga and Bangalore today. A six-member team raided five locations of both the cities.

The raids are conducted in the backdrop on probe being initiated on illegal mining charges faced by Yeddyurappa.

Supreme Court had allowed CBI inquiry on the allegations of illegal mining against Yeddyurappa.
