In Uttar Pradesh, the Central Bureau of Investigation CBI today conducted raids against a Branch Manager of Bank of Maharashtra, Leader Road branch at Allahabad and 05 other private persons in connection with sanction and disbursement of the housing loans fraudulently.Quoting CBI sources our Allahabad correspondent reports that sleuths of probe agency have searched the residential premises of accused persons at state capital Lucknow, Allahabad and Sant Ravidas Nagar, Bhadohi and recovered incriminating documents. The bank money to the tune of more than one crore 75 lakhs rupees was allegedly misappropriated in the name of housing loan. The CBI has lodged criminal cases against the all six accused. Further investigation is continuing.
