The CBI has questioned former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and BSP Chief Mayawati for her alleged involvement in the multi-crore National Rural Health Mission scam in the state.<br/><br/>Sources said during her examination, Ms. Mayawati was alleged to have evaded answers on crucial questions and even feigned ignorance on some of the decisions taken during her tenure. The quizzing of BSP Chief was done at her residence in New Delhi.<br/><br/>The scam allegedly involved misappropriation of over 10 thousand crore rupees during her tenure. CBI has registered 74 FIRs and filed 48 charge sheets in the scam.
