The CBI has started the probe of alleged horse trading for two seats of the Rajya Sabha polls in Jharkhand. After registering a case, the CBI team Friday evening visited the state Vidhan Sabha to see the ballot papers. But the Secretary of the Sabha refused to show them, as it was sealed by an order of the Election Commission.
Our Correspondent reports that Ever since the Jharkhand High Court issued order of probe for alleged horse trading of the Rajya Sabha polls in two different years, the politics of state has heated up with allegations and counter allegations. Lack of cordinations among the ruling alliance as well as opposition, has made the scene more controversial. This year election of March 30th was countermanded after seizure of 2.15 crores, while in 2010 footage of cutting deals with MLAs were shown on some TV channels.
